Description & what's in the box
The Connetix Pastel Ball Run 106 Piece Pack is the ultimate Connetix set for combining magnetic tile building with kinetic ball-run play — in a softer pastel colourway that's become a favourite in calm, neutral-toned playrooms across Australia. With 106 pieces including connector tiles, fluted tubes, special effects pieces, and 8 wooden balls, this is one of the most complete Ball Run sets in the Connetix range.
What's Included
- Pastel connector tiles in a calming, design-forward palette
- 8 pastel wooden balls — perfectly sized for the tubes
- Clear fluted tubes for unobstructed visual tracking
- Special effect pieces: stair soundscape tubes, S-bend tubes, and split tubes
- Total: 106 pieces
STEM Learning Through Play
While your child is engrossed in play, they're also exploring fundamental principles of physics — gravity, motion, momentum, and cause and effect. The Ball Run Pack rewards hands-on experimentation: watch the balls run, change the design, watch them run differently. This is real STEM learning that doesn't feel like learning.
Frequently Asked Questions
Pastel vs Bright Ball Run — which should I buy?
Both are complete ball run sets. The Pastel set has 106 pieces and the Ball Run Bright Pack has 114. The choice comes down to colour preference: Bright is brighter and high-contrast (great for younger children); Pastel is calmer and more design-led (often preferred for Montessori homes and shared family spaces).
What age is the Pastel Ball Run for?
Recommended for ages 3+. Younger children can play with supervision (the wooden balls are larger to reduce choking risk). The set continues to be played with up to age 8–10 as builds grow more complex.
Does it work with other Connetix sets?
Yes — all Connetix tiles are compatible regardless of colourway. Pastel pieces snap together with Rainbow, and Ball Run components work with any Connetix set you may already own.
How big is the set when built?
Tall enough to be impressive — children regularly build ball runs over a metre high using just this set. Add a Creative Pack and the size grows significantly.
